Otto Addo Is Not Fit To Manage Black Stars – Charles Taylor

Hearts of Oak legend, Charles Taylor, has cast doubts on Black Stars head coach Otto Addo, saying he is unqualified for the position.
His comments follows Ghana’s poor performance in the second September friendly game against Nicaragua, the assistant coach at Borussia Dortmund has received significant criticism.

While preparing for the 2022 World Cup, Ghana’s football team lost 3-0 against Brazil. Despite this setback, the nation’s supporters still had high hopes that their side would put up a good showing against the 139th-ranked country.

The team however, emerged victorious from Tuesday’s match against their Central American counterparts by a score of 1-0.

Coach Addo has come under fire after the results of two games, with many criticizing his tactics and pushing for his resignation in advance of the Mundial.

The former Hearts of Oak player claims that, Otto Addo is neither physically nor mentally capable of leading the national squad.

“Otto Addo is a scout,” the former Asante Kotoko forward told Adom FM.

“His job is to watch, nurture players. He’s not capable of managing Black Stars.

“We need to have a standard for everything. People won’t understand why Kudus Mohammed performs at Ajax but not Black Stars,” he added.

To appreciate his efforts for leading Ghana to the world cup, which will begin on November 20 and go through December 18, Otto Addo has signed a one-year contract with the Ghana Football Association [GFA].
