The Immediate Past District Chief Executive of Wa West District has been reported Dead late hours of 9th September 2022.
Sources said he passed away in whilst undergoing treatment at a hospital in the southern belt of Ghana.
He has been ill for over two months.
Late Mr. Edward Sabo Laabiir was born 12th December 1979 and offered his Tertiary Education at the University of Development Studies (UDS).
“Breaking news: Wa West District is a total state of shock over the sudden death of the immediate former DCE Hon. Edward Laabiiri Sabo.
He was appointed by President Akufo-Addo in 2017 and was confirmed by the Wa West District Assembly as District Chief Executive till he was replaced by the former NPP Communication Officer, Mr. Bukari Ali who was twice unsuccessful in a process to be confirmed by the Way West Assembly in 2021.
Mr. Bukari Ali was replaced with Madam Vida Diorotey who was later confirmed by the Wa West Assembly as District Chief Executive on 9th November 2021.
