Ofori Atta Should Be Given Chance To Fix Economic Challenges – Macdan CEO

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Macdan group of companies is of the view that, finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta Should be given the chance to fix the current economic challenges in the Country.

According to Dr. Daniel Mackorley, the Finance Minister deserves the chance to be able to fix the current economic challenges facing the Country.

He was speaking on TV3’s Business focus on Monday on the issue of economic challenges.

Following tthe seeming challenges facing the Country, a section of Ghanaians are calling for the head of the finance Minister.

But, the CEO of the Macdan group of companies appear to disagree with this.

“I have respect for those calling for his dismissal. The Finance Minister must be given the chance to fix Ghana’s problems.

“The President knows why he is still keeping him,” he told TV3’s  Paa Kwesi Asare on the Business Focus programme.

Ghana is ccurrently seeking support from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to stabilize the Economy as cost of living keeps rising amid rising fuel prices and inflation.

The government has attributed this to the Russia invasion of Ukraine and also the rising fuel prices at the International Market.

The Ghana Cedi is also depreciation at a faster rate and this is affecting the prices of imported goods and services.
